It is no secret that we are complete foodies. So on our recent getaway to Byron Bay, I knew just where we would be heading for breakfast a single morning! I’d been next Combi Byron Bay on Instagram for ages and drooling above their smoothie bowls, uncooked cakes and healthy goodness every time they posted new pics. It was a extended weekend, so super busy whilst I hope they are hectic each and every day simply because their menu is so remarkable! Combi has an natural menu, house-made nut milks and uncooked cakes, reasonable trade coffee and insta-worthy smoothie bowls, all although getting loved ones owned and supporting neighborhood farmers! It was the excellent spot for brunch soon after Dan’s early morning surf and my beautiful beach front walk.
We started off off with espresso for Dan and a Matcha Latte for me. Both ended up piping incredibly hot and mouth watering! I’m truly loving matcha and tumeric lattes these days but have found them a bit hit or miss in cafes but I’m satisfied to say, Combi’s matcha latte was fantastic.
Dan was a very little let down when he realised there was no bacon on the menu, having said that I quickly swayed him when I pointed out that he could have an Acai Bowl with peanut butter! It was remarkable and boy oh boy that peanut butter strike the location! The smoothie bowl was served in a coconut and introduced beautifully with antioxidant-loaded acai blended with banana, blueberries, medjool dates, property created nut milk then topped with crispy coconut flakes, activated caramelised buckinis, banana, apple, cranberries and strawberries. It just about seemed as well fantastic to eat!
I opted for the Dragon Fruit bowl which was blended with mango, banana & home designed nut milk, topped with strawberry, apple, crispy coconut, chia seeds, cranberry, goji berries, activated caramelised buckini and garnished with passion fruit. It was so sweet and entire of goodness, and I would surely opt for it yet again even though I did have a tiny little bit of food envy over Dan’s acai bowl with peanut butter!
Combi Byron Bay was every bit as great as we’d hoped. It is not the most inexpensive alternative for breakfast, with our bowls and coffees costing just over $50 however it was really worth it! We have been totally total by the close and a tiny unhappy we couldn’t healthy in some of the uncooked cakes that we had been eyeing off when we to start with walked in. We’ll definitely return to Combi Byron Bay on our upcoming excursion to Byron and highly recommend it to anybody who enjoys fresh, balanced and mouthwateringly good food stuff! The cafe is also super cute with pastel decor, palm trees and a seriously comfortable vibe!
